Thin Space
There is a thin space
between
now and eternity
where the other and we
can be in deep communion
a threshold time.
Were you to ask,
the mystics would say
moments
between light and dark,
the thin holy days
of All Hallows-Saints-Souls,
winter solstices,
where change charges the world,
midnight,
Christmas double so,
the Dawn of Easter.
Take advantage of those days
a stray moment,
fleeting,
where silence and word
are in eternal
resonance.
